During their initial research phase, the company’s engineering team learned about EPIC powder through industry peers. They had positive experiences with our equipment. For their new line, a critical requirement was an ultrafine grinding mill. It could ensure a consistently smooth mouthfeel and excellent dispersibility in the final protein powder. They’re key attributes for high-end nutritional and food applications. They were specifically looking for technology that could match the renowned processing quality, fineness control, capacity, and long-term stability of top-tier imported machinery, but with better overall value.
After a thorough technical evaluation and factory inspection, the client was convinced that EPIC powder’s mechanical impact mill technology was the optimal solution. They determined that our machines could not only meet but exceed their stringent specifications, offering comparable performance to the leading European brands they had considered, while providing enhanced cost-effectiveness and reliable local support.
Consequently, EPIC powder was selected as the key equipment supplier for this strategic project. We provided two sets of our high-standard mechanical impact mills, engineered to handle the specific characteristics of pea protein isolate with high efficiency and minimal heat generation.
The grinding line has been successfully integrated into their new facility. It reliably produces vast quantities of premium-quality pea protein with the exact particle size distribution required, enabling our client to strengthen their leadership position in the competitive and rapidly growing plant-based protein market in Europe.
